STUDENT BODHISATTVA INITIATIVE
The Loden Student Bodhisattva Initiative is a pioneering pilot project established at Ura Middle Secondary School and Jakar Higher Secondary School in Bumthang. Conceived as a platform for students to devise creative solutions to pressing local community challenges, the programme enables participants to compete for grants generously sponsored by Loden.
Spearheaded by Loden’s founder within his alma maters of Jakar and Ura, the initiative extends modest financial support to school students, empowering them to conceptualize innovative ideas, craft detailed proposals, implement community-focused projects, and present comprehensive reports. In doing so, the programme cultivates a spirit of social responsibility and entrepreneurial problem-solving among Bhutan’s youth, while fostering sustainable development at the grassroots level.
