Loden Foundation’s flagship initiative, the Child Sponsorship Programme, is dedicated to supporting school-going children across Bhutan by covering essential annual expenses such as uniforms, stationery, and equipment. The programme was established to ensure that children from underprivileged backgrounds are not deprived of their fundamental right to education due to financial hardship. By alleviating the burden of these basic educational expenses, the initiative enables students to remain in school with dignity and continuity. To sustain this effort, Loden Foundation mobilises generous contributions from individual benefactors and institutional partners both within Bhutan and internationally. Each sponsor is thoughtfully matched with a specific child, fostering a meaningful and accountable connection between donor and beneficiary while safeguarding the child’s well-being.
