I lost my mother to cancer when I was just four years old. Since then, my father has been my rock. He worked tirelessly in agriculture to provide for me, ensuring I had the opportunity to go to school and pursue my dreams. There were times when we barely had enough, yet he never let me feel that I couldn’t reach for more. His belief in me was greater than my own at times, and that kept me going even when I doubted myself.
Along the way, Loden Foundation became a source of guidance and support. The encouragement I received helped me stay focused on my studies and gave me the confidence to chase my dream of becoming a nurse. Some days felt impossible, balancing academics with financial constraints, but I never gave up. I knew that each challenge was shaping me into the person I needed to be.
Now, as I begin my journey at Punakha Hospital, I can see how all the pieces of my journey connect. The sacrifices, the support, the guidance, and the determination they all brought me here. Looking back, I am grateful not just for the opportunities but for the lessons learned along the way.
I hope my story reminds others that even in difficult circumstances, with perseverance and support, dreams are possible. I intend to continue learning, growing, and serving, and I hope to inspire others the way I have been inspired.
