Yeshi Paldon, from Chamkhar, Bumthang, discovered her passion for nursing through career counseling and began her journey at Royal Thimphu College. However, her studies were interrupted after losing her father, an armed forces member, to a tragic accident, leaving her unemployed mother to raise her and her siblings under financial hardship. Despite these challenges, Yeshi’s determination led her to secure the Loden Scholarship, reigniting her dream of becoming a nurse. Guided by resilience and a passion for learning, she is committed to serving others and making a positive impact in the healthcare field.
