Yeshi Jamtsho, from Shaphangma, Mongar, completed his high school at Drukgyel Central School. Raised by a single mother, he is the second of three siblings, with an elder sister currently unemployed due to the pandemic and a younger brother in Class 10. Inspired by his desire to treat his mother’s health issues, Yeshi is passionate about becoming a health worker. He actively supported peers as a helper addressing mental health, addiction, and abuse-related challenges. Scoring 81.25% in Class 12, he earned a partial scholarship to pursue MBBS. With support from the Loden Scholarship, he will now study MBBS in Bangladesh.
