Course: Bachelor of Education in Biology and Chemistry

My name is Tsheten Dema, and I am currently pursuing B.Ed in Biology and Chemistry at Samtse College of Education. My childhood was challenging, raised by my father who struggled with alcoholism and mental illness, and with no support from my mother or extended family. Thanks to Royal Kidu, I was able to meet my basic educational needs early on, and later a kind businessman informally adopted me, helping me continue my studies in Thimphu. Though the COVID-19 pandemic brought new financial struggles, the Loden Post-School Scholarship now allows me to focus fully on my education. I am determined to become a passionate teacher who inspires and uplifts future generations.
