My name is Sonam Zangmo, and I am an 18-year-old from Sakteng pursuing a BSc in Nursing at Royal Thimphu College.  Losing my mother, sister, and father at a young age brought emotional pain and financial struggles, but I have remained determined to continue my education. Caring for my ailing mother inspired me to become a nurse and bring comfort to others. With support from my brother, the Gyalpoi Tozey program, and the Loden Foundation Scholarship, I can focus fully on my studies. My dream is to serve patients with dignity and compassion, honoring those who supported me and making a real difference in Bhutan’s healthcare system.
