Sonam, from Lanchenphu Toed, Samdrup Jongkhar, is an accomplished graduate of Jigme Namgyel Engineering College (JNEC) and a recipient of His Majesty the King’s Certificate of Excellence for topping both the BCSE and BHSEC examinations. Alongside her academic achievements, she has demonstrated exceptional leadership and active participation in co-curricular activities. Driven by a passion for engineering, Sonam aspires to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Power Engineering. Despite financial challenges faced by her single mother supporting four children through farming, Sonam’s journey continues with the support of the Loden Scholarship, enabling her to realize her aspirations.
