Sonam, from Dogar, Paro, is a graduate of Drukgyel Central School. Raised by her single mother, a farmer, and supported by her recently employed elder sister, she achieved an impressive 81.25% in her Class 12 examinations, earning a half scholarship to pursue MBBS. With additional support as a Loden Scholar, Sonam is now studying MBBS in Bangladesh, bringing her closer to her dream of becoming a doctor.
