Pema Tobgyel, from Buli, Zhemgang, is an aspiring nurse and graduate of Jakar Higher Secondary School, Bumthang. Raised by his single mother, who relies on small-scale farming to support the family, Pema has shown dedication to academics and volunteerism. His passion for helping others and witnessing the critical role of health workers during COVID-19 inspired him to pursue nursing. With the Loden-RTC Scholarship, he will study Nursing and Midwifery at Royal Thimphu College, aiming to make a meaningful impact in healthcare.
