Pema, from Phanyul in Wangdue Phodrang, is a graduate of Nangkor Central School with a diploma in Science. Inspired by the selflessness of nurses, she has aspired to join the profession since childhood. After losing her father in 2017, Pema and her three younger siblings have been raised by their mother, who works tirelessly as a sweeper to support their education. Despite these financial challenges, Pema’s determination to pursue nursing remains unwavering. As a Loden Scholar, she is now on her path to achieving her dream and aims to become a pillar of support for her family while contributing to the well-being of others.
