I am Nilam Sharma, pursuing General Nursing and Midwifery at Arura Academy of Health Sciences in Phuentsholing, driven by my goal of becoming a healthcare professional and serving my country. I come from a financially challenged family, the cost of tuition, accommodation, and transportation has been a heavy burden. To support my education, my parents leased their only source of income, a small betel nut orchard for two years, yet it remains uncertain if this will cover even my initial semesters. With the support of the Loden Foundation, I am determined to complete my studies and contribute to Bhutan’s medical field.
