Kaushila Thapa, from the remote village of Tshangkha in Dagana, is a dedicated and ambitious young woman who recently graduated from Drukjegang Central School with commendable academic performance. Coming from a family of eight children supported by her parents’ farming and vegetable sales, Kaushila has always aspired to become a nurse. However, financial constraints made it challenging to pursue higher education. As a recipient of the Loden-RTC Scholarship, she is now pursuing Nursing and Midwifery at Royal Thimphu College, taking a significant step toward achieving her dream.
