From 9–11 August 2025, the Loden Education Initiative, in partnership with FAO, WFF Bhutan Chapter, SSB, and Impact Hub, brought together young innovators from CNR, GCIT, Druk School, and RTC at Royal Thimphu College to co-create tech-driven solutions for a more sustainable agricultural future.
Winner: AgroConnect Bhutan – a digital marketplace bridging farmers with buyers and service providers.
First Runner-Up: GreenChain AI Advisor – an AI-powered agricultural assistant and marketplace.
The winners were awarded their cash prizes on 12 August 2025, in celebration of International Youth Day, honoring youth-led innovation in shaping the future of Bhutan’s agriculture.
We extend our sincere gratitude to our judges, mentors, speakers, and logistics team for their invaluable contributions, and to all participants for their passion, creativity, and hard work. This hackathon has shown that technology, collaboration, and youth-driven innovation are key to transforming Bhutan’s agricultural landscape.
