Little Bloom ECCD Centre is a women-led childcare initiative proposed in Motithang, Thimphu, dedicated to providing safe, structured, and development-focused services for young children while creating sustainable employment for trained women. Founded by a certified ECCD facilitator with academic and professional experience in education and administration, the centre seeks to transform ECCD training into meaningful self-employment and dignified opportunities for other women.

The centre will begin with 20 children and expand to 40 within two years, offering services aligned with national ECCD guidelines that emphasize child safety, early learning, emotional development, hygiene, and nutrition. With a monthly fee of BTN 4,500, the model balances affordability with quality care and sustainability.

Beyond childcare, the venture addresses a pressing social gap: many trained ECCD graduates face limited employment prospects. By employing women and supporting working mothers, Little Bloom ECCD Centre enhances workforce participation, family wellbeing, and community development. Financially, the project demonstrates early-stage viability, with controlled costs and strong repayment capacity.

In the long term, the centre aspires to become a model women-led enterprise that combines quality early childhood care with social impact, embodying a commitment to child development, women’s empowerment, and responsible entrepreneurship.
