Namkhar, 33 is a young, dynamic entrepreneur. He founded Transcend Artisan, in 2012 a successful startup that manufactures high-end interior and exterior designs. In 2018, he came up with a new idea called ‘Rigpah’, which is an online educational platform for students and educators.

As COVID-19 pushes lessons beyond classrooms, there’s never a better time to launch his e-learning platform. Namkhar hopes Rigpah will help to bridge the current learning gap. The online platform allows users to interact, thus, making learning easier, engaging, and interactive. Namkhar is working with educators to develop learning resources and will make them accessible to all school students free of cost till the end of this year. Free access to rural students beyond 2020 will be supported s through the Loden-UNDP Bhutan Covid-19 Response Fund.
