Sangay, the sole caregiver to her mother with an intellectual disability, completed high school in 2017 with the support of her uncle. Unable to fund her college education due to his own family obligations, Sangay’s aspirations were realized through the Loden Scholarship. She is now pursuing a Bachelor’s in History and Dzongkha at Royal Thimphu College, aiming to serve her country as a future Member of Parliament.
