Dorji P. Wangmo, from Dogar in Paro, is a determined and academically outstanding individual who graduated from Shari Higher Secondary School. Raised by her single mother alongside four younger siblings, she lived with her grandparents due to financial constraints. Dorji excelled in her studies, topping Class 11 Science in 2018 and receiving His Majesty the King’s Academic Excellence Award. Achieving 80.25% in Class 12 earned her a partial scholarship to study MBBS. However, financial challenges made pursuing her dream of becoming a doctor difficult. Today, as a Loden Scholar, she is pursuing her MBBS at Kelaniya University, Sri Lanka, taking a significant step toward her aspiration.
