Loden becomes one of the two registered CSOs in Bhutan
However, so far Loden and Bhutan Center for Media and Democracy are the only two orgnisations which have submitted all the documents required by the regulations for registration. Loden's Memorandum in Dzongkha and English and Articles of Association and other paper work were found to be examplery.
"The experts who assessed the application on behalf of the CSO Authority have highly recommended Loden's memorandum and articles, now many others want to use ours as a model", said Dorji Tashi, the co-ordinator for Loden.
With the registered status, Loden can now officially enjoy a tax exempt status, raise funds and run projects within the framwork of the CSO regulations. It also makes Loden directly answerable and accountable to the CSO Authority
