Thinley Delma and Dawa Dem in their flashy kira received the dinner guests who came in black bow tie or exotic native dresses. The guests were greeted with a white scarf (khadar) and served drinks in the smoking room, followed by the dinner in David Llyods room. Karma Phuntsho introduced Nitasha Kaul who gave a stimulating short talk on the socio-political changes in Bhutan and then briefed the guests about Loden’s activities in 2008. Gerard Tardy have a short account of the Loden Entrepreneurship Programme and the dinner finished with a raffle draw, which was won by Anderson Bakewell, and the entertaining charity auction by our hilarious auctioneer, Isabelle Onians.
