Loden’s director enlightens British audience

London, 11 November 2011 – Coinciding with His Majesty the fourth King’s birthday, the Loden Foundation hosted a talk and reception with Kunzang Choden, Bhutan’s foremost writer and a director of the Loden Foundation.

Kunzang Choden talked about the historical and contemporary place

of women in Bhutanese society explaining the changes and challenges faced by women in modern Bhutan as well as the opportunities enjoyed by Bhutanese women compared to some other parts of the world.

The talk was attended by many friends of Bhutan and the Loden Foundation and also some Bhutanese students in the UK.
