The Loden Foundation is a registered charitable foundation in Bhutan, dedicated to fostering an enlightened society through supporting and promoting education, entrepreneurship and Bhutan's cultural heritage. The Foundation is run by a Governing Board of Trustees and the Co-ordinator and his team.
The Foundation wishes to expand its programme and activities in accordance with the needs of the society and appoint a second core staff to facilitate this. The person appointed will work with the current co-ordinator and will be responsible for sharing/complementing the duties of the co-ordinator and fulfilling his roles during his absence. About 60% of his/her time will be spent on financial administration and resource centre management and 40% on project management.

Person Specification:
Honest, diligent and hard-working
Well-educated (first degree level)
Demonstrable commitment to or experience in humanitarian work
A deep knowledge of Bhutan and substantial acquaintance with its different regions
Computer literate, and able to produce electronic documents in English and Dzongkha to a reasonable standard
Knowledgeable about the mechanisms of Bhutanese government, law and social policy
A good communicator and a sensitive, approachable person
Proposal and report writings skills
Accounting and book keeping skills

Setting up and management of the Loden Knowledge Base
Liaison, where appropriate, with government and local authorities/officials
Working with the co-ordinator to manage the Loden programmes and organize Loden events
Represent the Loden Foundation and its goals
Regular communication with Trustees and all Loden beneficiaries
